Childhood

One of my fondest memories of going into the city was being on the road at night. Street lights, car lights, and traffic lights illuminated the dark. Childhood consists of five images created through Lithography as it depicts a panoramic view of the cityscape on the Queensboro Bridge. Each of the five images was created using the Mezzotint technique. I was able to play with the light by using a razor blade and etching needle to create shading. In other areas, the light was intensified by a deletion hone, Gum Arabic, and nitric acid.

No matter how many times I had gone into the city, I always found myself fascinated by the scenes at my side of the window.
